Robert Morgan has been heading the »Kastell« restaurant at Wernberg Castle since June 2018, now being the one in charge of the gourmet Mecca in Eastern Bavaria. The 32-year old Brit trained with the best and has got what it takes when it comes to culinary excellence at an international level. His trademark is a fresh and creative approach centred around using locally-grown quality produce from regional suppliers, to come up with something new, exciting and outstandingly delicious. This goes hand in hand with the recent makeover of the castle’s restaurant facilities, now providing a stylish new look and feel, complementing Robert’s cuisine and creating a world-class overall dining experience.
Robert Morgan is taking over the helm as chef de cuisine at Wernberg Castle. The 32-year old Brit is no stranger to the world of world-class dining, knows the castle and our region well, and has already been working with the resident kitchen crew. From June 2018 onwards, Robert will continue the work of his predecessor, making Wernberg Castle a culinary haven for food lovers from all over the world.
