We do not disclose, share, sell or rent your personal information to third-parties, unless you have granted us permission to do so. Moreover, we use commercially reasonable methods consistent with industry practice to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure appropriate use of your personal information. Nevertheless, please be aware that data transfer via the internet does always pose a potential security risk. Providing company information on commercial webpages is a legal requirement in Germany. In this context, we reserve the right to take immediate legal action against any party using this information in order to forward unsolicited marketing material in both print (junk) and electronic (spam) format.

Like the majority of websites these days, we use cookies solely to make it as easy as possible for you to navigate our pages. Cookies are little text files created on your computer when browsing our website. Cookies contain only information that we transfer to your computer – they cannot be programmed, do not contain malware and cannot be used to "infiltrate" your hard drive to obtain any of your personal data. Moreover, if you do not agree to our use of cookies, you can adjust your browser settings accordingly to decline cookies.

Most of our cookies are session cookies, i.e. cookies which only last for the duration you are browsing our website, and which will be deleted from your computer as soon as the browser window has been closed. Session cookies are basically roadmaps used by our software to help you navigate our site, for example, by enabling you to return to the previous page by clicking the back button of the browser window. If you access our webpage via a third party link provided by one of our business partners, we'll also sent you a cookie that identifies the third party (information we use for webstats and marketing purposes). However, like any other session cookies, these cookies cannot be used to collect any personal information of our website visitors, or render individual website users identifiable. In addition, none of our business partners and affiliates are allowed to place cookies via our website on your computer to collect, process and use personal information.

Even if your browser settings enable cookies, you can still opt for a cookie alert (basically a pop-up window that notifies you any time we've sent you a cookie) allowing you to decide whether to accept or reject cookies on an individual basis.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics™ (GA), a web stats service offered by Google™. Hence, the source code of our website contains cookies (i.e. little text files created on your computer) provided by Google™ which collect visitor data, transferring them to the Google™ mainframe based in the US. Google™ uses the collected data to produce web analysis reports for GA clients, including Hotel Burg Wernberg GmbH. However, the process of logging visitor data includes measures which ensure that all visitors stay anonymous: visitor IPs and other visitor related information collected by the GA tracking code will not be correlated in any way to any other data that may be collected by Google™. In case of visitors using IP anonymizers, and according to recent EU regulations, IP addresses located in all member states of the EU will be truncated before being transferred to the Google™ mainframe. If you object to Google™ collecting and using data related to your use of our website, please adjust your browser settings accordingly (N.B. This may prevent our site from functioning properly). You also may want to consider downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at
